Vanessa Hudgens will star in a documentary about learning witchcraft with her close friend GG Magree

Vanessa Hudgens will show off her magical abilities in an upcoming documentary.

According Varietythe 33-year-old actress will star in Dead Hot: Season Of The Witch.

Dead Hot will follow Hudgens and his close friend GG Magree as they learn about witchcraft, ghost hunting and other supernatural disciplines.

The film will be 90 minutes long and is described as an “intimate journey into the supernatural realm”.

Julie Pizzi, who is president of Bunim-Murray Productions which will produce the documentary film, said Hudgens and Magree have loved witchcraft for many years.

“They’ve been doing little spells since they were kids, and they were really, really into this world,” she said.

She went on to say that the documentary is a mix of The Craft and The Simple Life.

“It’s entertainment first, but there’s a real personal and spiritual journey that they both have together,” Pizzi told Variety. “It’s so emotionally raw that it really created such a beautiful narrative. It’s a lot about empowering women.

News of Hudgens’ new show came the same day she shared a series of snaps in a fuzzy purple dress that showed off her long legs.
