United States, February 3, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ — Although there was only a dream about a garage computer seven years ago, when founder Jan Carlo DeFan was about to retire, he turned VRAD Research into a state-of-the-art research and development before retiring.

VRAD Research is an engineering company that focuses on R&D in the field of physics, in particular the modulation and manipulation of sound for military and aerospace applications through device volume reduction and acoustic de-intensification in detonation and propulsion of supersonic and subsonic projectiles.

VRAD Research contracts with Federally Licensed Manufacturers of 07/02 firearms with SOT Class 2 status that are compliant with the Department of State’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) DDTC (Directorate of Controls defense trade).

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Jan Carlo DeFan (born December 26, 1977 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is an American researcher in the field of auditory response, spatial auditory design, and acoustic engineering, particularly acoustic computer modeling and simulation (ACMS) of the detonation of supersonic and subsonic projectiles.

Our founder had retired from his earlier career as a record producer, executive and educator and enjoyed his time as a philanthropist (which he still does as an avid outdoorsman supporting first responders who work and serve in the wilderness of the northwestern United States and Canada. ). Mr. DeFan was the first president of the International Association of Colleges and Universities of Music (www.iamcu.net) and former Chairman of the Board of Fermatta University Center (www.fermatta.university).

Mr. DeFan founded VRAD Research in 2015 and established himself in late 2017. He is now retired, leaving VRAD in young, hungry and skilled hands capable of taking our research center to unimagined destinations of discovery.

Mr. DeFan lives in a forest somewhere near the Canadian Rockies with his wife and children, living off the land and tending to their livestock.
