How Fatboy Slim almost became a firefighter
Imagine a world where Fat slim boy (Norman Cook) music never existed, but instead he was putting out fires in your local town, well, that situation was almost a reality. According to Darlington and Stockholm Time at a recent event organized by The firefighters’ charity. Fatboy Slim mentioned that during a low point in his music career he considered quitting and becoming a firefighter.

But just because Slim decided to keep making music, that doesn’t mean he’s out of the firefighting world. Describing himself as an “aspiring firefighter,” Slim took it upon himself to meet the medical requirements to be a firefighter. However, at 57, Slim now thinks he’s too old to be.
