Puerto Rican music producer Flow La Movie has died in a plane crash aged 38.
The producer, whose real name is Jose Angel Hernandez, rose to prominence by producing a number of hit songs and working with artists like Bad Bunny and Ozuna.
In addition, he has produced hits for artists from Latin America and America through his own label and management company.
His death was confirmed via a list of victims that the company that owns the private plane posted on social networks.
The plane, a Gulfstream IV, was heading for Orlando, Florida from La Isabela International Airport in the Dominican Republic. After encountering problems, it crashed near the nearby Las Américas International Airport. Photos of the wreck were quickly shared on social media and ended up accompanying the news.
Hernandez’s son, Debbie Von Marie Jimenez Garcia, and her son, Jayden Hernandez, were among the victims, who also included multiple Americas, as well as the flight crew.
Hernandez produced “Te Boté” for Bad Bunny, who topped the Hot Latin Songs Table for 14 weeks in 2018, and also produced “AM” by Nio GarcÃa and his own song “Travesuras”.
