Isaac got his chance when asked to perform on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Virgin Radio last Christmas, which is where he caught Elton’s attention. He also received a guitar from Gary Lightbody, singer and songwriter of Snow Patrol. The only other artist Gary has given one of his most prized Lowden guitars to is number one on the Ed Sheeran charts.
Isaac, who released his second single Saved on Friday, is being chased by a string of record companies eager to list him. While other performers were kept away from the closed premises, Isaac was given special permission to film a clip in an empty Wembley. Arena in containment.

Isaac, from Banbury, Oxford, said: “It has been a crazy year. I think I was probably presented with opportunities that maybe wouldn’t have happened if we weren’t in the pandemic.
“Going to the Chris Evans Breakfast Show was crazy.
“I got called the Thursday before Christmas to ask, ‘Do you want to star on the Chris Evans show tomorrow? Rick Astley has lost his voice and Chris would like you to play instead ”.
“I still have a normal job. I work for a piano store where I have been working since I was 14.
“So I had to say to my boss, ‘Do you mind if I stop working for the rest of the day? “I have to train for Chris Evans tomorrow.
Isaac played four songs, including his first single Do You Like It When We Lay Like This.
“Chris said, ‘David just phoned Elton John to ask,’ Who is this kid? ‘”
Isaac recorded a series of tracks last year with top music producer Andy Strange, a former assistant to George Martin. For the occasion, he received the very special guitar from the singer of Snow Patrol, Gary Lightbody.
The London-based singer said: “All these stories you can’t really believe.
“I went to Andy’s studio to record four or five songs and the day before I entered the studio my manager texted me and said, ‘This guitar just went through the job for me. Gary Lightbody knows you’re going to the studio tomorrow and he sent it to you for you to use ”. I was told the only other person he had given a guitar to was Ed Sheeran! He really likes my stuff.
“I used the guitar in the studio and wrote a song while I was there.”
An Isaac spokesperson revealed, “Gary had heard the Isaac demo and immediately said, ‘He’s going to be a star.’
“I also did a performance at Wembley Arena that wouldn’t have been empty without Covid.”
As music industry bosses predict it to be the next big thing, Isaac says, “It’s been a busy year. It’s a bit crazy what happened.
