Thomas Edward Percy Hull, more commonly and amusingly known in the music industry as Kid Harpoon, signed to the influential Young Turks label – now called Just Young – and released a few not particularly successful albums before he started writing and producing a plethora of pop songs for an impressive list of chart-topping pop singers.

Most recently, Harpoon co-wrote and produced a bunch of songs on Harry Style’s second consecutive number one album, “Fine Line,” including the Grammy-winning single “Watermelon sugar, and although his efforts to write and produce Shawn Mendes’ 2020 album “Wonder” have been judged without originality and “naiveHe nevertheless made his debut at number one in Canada and the United States.
All that top talent writing and production work got the 39-year-old to buy a home for not quite $ 3.8 million in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.
