CLEVELAND, Ohio — The celebration of The Beatles’ new Rock & Roll Hall of Fame exhibit, “The Beatles: Get Back to Let It Be,” is heading into a new month. The museum announced details of its Beatles Fan Weekend on Monday.
The festivities start with “Rock Hall Nights: The Beatles” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 7. The vent will feature sound engineer and record producer Glyn Johns, who worked with the Beatles during the famous “Get Back” sessions.
Johns was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 in the Musical Excellence category. He will be on hand to sign copies of his book “Sound Man”, which are available for purchase online or in person at the Rock Hall store.
“Rock Hall Nights: The Beatles” will also feature vintage Beatles gear from the Rock Hall vault, a “Design Your Own Beatles Album Cover” booth, Beatles induction images, trivia contests and the live music by The Mechanics.
Special tickets priced at $21 are required for the event. However, admission is free for members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and residents of the city of Cleveland.
As part of a weekend celebration of The Beatles’ new exhibit, The Rock Hall will have extended hours on Saturday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Members will have access from 9:30 a.m.
