(The Magazine Plus Editorial): – Sacramento, CA, December 17, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – Janapriyan Levine, a musical visionary raised in New York City and based in California, has released his new single “Tera Hua», A pop ballad of unfulfilled love. The song was released on all audio platforms and Youtube on December 17, 2021 at 9:00 p.m. IST // 10:30 a.m. EST.
Explorer on the border between East and West, this ambitious producer has established himself by his fresh and disruptive sound. âThe song is a hymn of dedication and love to someone who is no longer there. While there is something tragic about it, there are also lighter colors in the music that just wear a sad disguise if you listen carefully, âsays Levine.
Safer Plus magazine:
Levine has a reputation for teaming up with top singers and Grammy-winning artists. He released Tera Hua in collaboration with Vikalp Sharma and Ekabhuya animation. “I asked Vikalp to sing on this track because the music I was writing was raw and would suit his free-spirited voice perfectly. In many ways I’m an explorer of Indian sound and Vikalp is orienting himself the same way to rock and roll, I knew he would give us the voice the song deserved.
Vikalp’s lyrics capture the moment you realize you’re in love with someone only after they’re gone. But as Levine adds, “Hidden deep within this song, there is also a quiet triumph that lingers long after its end.” The one-of-a-kind video concept came in a flash of inspiration in the middle of the night. A true performer needs to heed those calls, and Levine rose and got to work, finding mannequins, putting televisions on their heads and bringing white doves to life in this unique performance from the talented multi-instrumentalist.
As one of the few bold and expressive creators who knows exactly how to achieve what he envisions, Janapriyan has worked to bring his tale of loss to light through this single. âWhen you watch the video now, the room you see is exactly as it appeared in my mind that night at 3 am,â he adds.
Janapriyan Levine is a rare musical phenomenon. He has produced a large catalog of songs featuring Grammy Award-winning artists and many of India’s favorite singers. Levine recorded his first solo album in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in 2001. He has since produced original music with Shweta Subram (the voice of Jalebi baby), Varijashree Venugopal from South India, The Dhoad Gypsies of Rajasthan, the maestro by Veena Rajesh Vaidya, playback singer Suvarna Tiwari, and many more. In addition to his earthy, rock and hip hop instrumental tracks, he posts new music videos every month on his youtube channel that feature these beloved Indian singers.
