Aiwaska on her first encounter with Teologen, new single, and more.

THE – Hey Aiwaska, how are you, what’s good and bad in your world right now?

Aiwaska – Now is a very productive time for me. I’m focusing on the NFT market right now. Create my own meta-human to play in the metaverse. This year, I already had a similar performance experience on the Decentraland site, I want to evolve in this area. In addition, I create an NFT collection of metaanimals, and all benefit from it, we donate it to support the wild nature on Earth. As for the music, it’s also a lot of work in the process. More than 10 titles & remixes will be released this year, plus I’m working on my live show, finally.

THE – When did you first meet Teologen, why did you decide to work together?

Aiwaska – In all my tracks I only use male vocals, and in this genre it’s very hard to find the right mood for me, but when I accidentally heard Teologen’s work on Spotify, I fell in love with her voice, I was very inspired by the style and the timbre, and I immediately decided to write to her and offered her a collaboration.

THE – How did you bond for the musical EP Poesie? Why does it work? –

Aiwaska – I like the release of the label, I play many tracks from their catalog, the music of Poesie is also linked to the legendary Get Physical Music. so why not 😉

THE – What inspired this new track? Who was it written for and what setting did you have in mind?

Aiwaska – I produced this track in Tulum. The incredible atmosphere, which I was imbued with, inspired me. Also, while I was in Mexico, I saw a documentary about Bolivia, it was on the road to death. So the puzzle took shape in my head and the result was this piece.

THE – What equipment did you use when producing the track?

Aiwaska – I worked with digital and analog sound. I used virtual plugins and my favorite Moog and Korg hardware synths. Once the vocals were completed, the arrangement was sent for analog mixing.

LA – How has the last year of the pandemic affected the music you’ve made, and the style and sound of it?

Aiwaska – When I create music, I always look to the future, but I’m inspired by legendary artists from the past, so the present has little effect on me.

LA – Where does your desire to create something come from? What role do sources of inspiration like dreams, other art forms, personal relationships, politics, etc. play? ?

Aiwaska – I am inspired by travel, art in all its manifestations, brilliant people, nature and the purity of the universe. Music occupies first place in the hierarchy of spiritual sciences, followed by painting and sculpture. First there were sounds and vibrations, and only then did life appear.

LE – What are the most important factors for the ideal party? –

Aiwaska – Everything must come together, good room, good people, music.

THE – What are the 3 promising producers you have your eye on at the moment? –

Aiwaska – I am a music lover. I listen to a lot of different music. I don’t focus on just one genre. But from the club dance scene, in my sets mostly Kienemusik: Adam Port, & ME, Rampa.

THE – Which artist would you dream of collaborating with?

Aiwaska – All dreams come true. I am inspired by the voice of Rufus Du Sol, WhoMadeWho.

LA – What else do you have coming up?

Aiwaska – May-June will be important for me. I’m going to start hosting my new show in the US on Insomniac Radio. In addition, this year I want to launch an interactive virtual show Aiwaska Planet. Many upcoming releases on Expoited Club, Bar 25 Music etc.
